
Terms and Conditions of Hire
Please be aware that delivery & collection times are approximate and if you require a specific collection or drop off time then please call us to make us aware of this and that we can update your order, if this can be accommodated. We always try to adhere to your set timing(s) however a route will be planned prior to your delivery/hire and generally all collections are done between 7am and 11am and collections are from 7pm. Booking fees are non refundable unless we have to cancel your booking due to bad weather conditions.
It is the responsibility of the Adult who is hiring this Bouncy Castle/Inflatable to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury and/or damage to the inflatable(s). Please ensure the following safety instructions are adhered to:-
- Please ensure that only suitable users are on the inflatable - users should be no taller than the inside walls and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should adults be using a Children's Bouncy Castle.
- No food and/or drinks are to be consumed on/or near the inflatable. Chewing gum is also not permitted. (Please note a cleaning surcharge will apply should an inflatable be dirty/misused when collected of £20 per hour).
- No smoking or barbecues are permitted near or on the inflatable.
- No climbing on the internal and/or external frame/walls of the inflatables, this may damage the inflatable as well as risk safety of the participants whilst in use. No horseplay, running/climbing and/or somersaults upon the inflatable.
- No party poppers, decors, coloured streamers or silly string are to be used on or near the inflatable as this may stain the inflatable. (Cleaning charge will apply of £20ph).
- All shoes, glasses, hair clips, badges, jewellery and sharp objects from pockets MUST be removed prior to use. Users must be dressed appropriately and ensure socks are worn at all times. Users must ensure nothing call from there pockets whilst using the inflatable.
- A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable bouncy castle at all times. (If hired in conjunction with another service such as face painting and/or balloon modelling it is not the responsibility of this member to supervise the bouncy castle. Additional member of staff can be supplied for £25ph).
- Ensure participants are not pushing, shoving, fighting or behaving in a manor to cause injury or distress to others.
- No mixed age groups at anyone time. All users should be of similar height & age range. No overcrowding the inflatable bounce house only up to the maximum specified amount of users at one time.
- No pets, foam, bubbles and/or sharp objects are permitted upon any inflatable.
- If the inflatable is not being used partly throughout the day ensure to switch off the Bouncy castle fan via the mains socket however always ensure every individual has vacated the inflatable safely & has been accounted for. Under no circumstance should the fan be switched off with users inside the deflating bouncy castle, should this happen please ensure to safely escort users from the inflatable & reconnect the fan/call us.
- Do not allow any participant to bounce on the front safety step. This is NOT the bounce area of the inflatable however is a safety design to assist users getting on or off the inflatable safely.
- Please ensure no one uses the inflatable with a known medical condition such as back and/or neck problems. If a participant is unwell/sick please ask them to vacate the inflatable until they are feeling better.
- Do not relocate the inflatable once the driver has set up the inflatable and left the venue. The inflatable must remain secured into the ground at all times left as when set up by our team.
- Ensure an area of 6 feet or 2 metres around the inflatable is completely clear & free of overhead items, trip hazards and/or obstacles.
- Bouncy castles should not be used in wet or raining conditions as this is unsafe & slippery
- The inflatable must be vacated & switched off via the mains socket and then covered over with the supplied tarpaulin. With rain bubbling can be dried with a towel as this is normal.
- If located outside your inflatable bouncy castle hire must be located on grass area securely fastened via steel riveted pegs supplied & set up by ourselves. Hardstanding hires will be subject to drilled metal bull rings to the hard standing ground(s) to ensure users safety. Small indents and/or drill marks may be left after the event has took place. Anchor methods need to be checked by the party supervisor at all times.
- In the event of the blower/fan stops working, please ensure all users are vacated from the inflatable immediately & safely as well as accounted for. Ensure the inflatable is fully vacant and let no one back onto the bouncy castle until the error has been rectified. The blower has a safety reset button which should be tried as well as the extension reset. If the problem persists please ensure to check the fuse box in the premises. Ensure the blower tube/Zip/Deflation tube are fully sealed and connected to the inflatable fan/blower. Should the fan not start after 2/3mins we advise you inform us straight away if the problem persists after these measures.
- Please ensure the bouncy castle fully fits the desired space prior to booking. We cannot be held responsible should the item not fit upon delivery with the required safety instructions around the inflatable as listed above.
- Booking fees are non refundable unless weather conditions as listed in point 22.
- Weather: We reserve the right to cancel ANY booking at ANY notice should we see the weather as a safety concern. if the wind speed is above 23mph at the time of installation and/or a prolonged rain is forecast on the morning of your booking then we will reserve the right to cancel your booking. A refund will be issued.
- We are not liable for any injury, loss and/or damage caused whilst using the unit, we ensure our products are safely installed and stress that the above guidelines are adhered to at all times to avoid injury and/or incident. If you have hired a unit for a public event we always advise you take out your own insurance to cover you.
- Shoes are permitted for ride on cars but NOT any other item(s) and must be removed.
- Do not throw or misuse soft play items or equipment as well as softly balls.
- No overcrowding any soft play or inflatable and/or climbing on top of domes/equipment as specified.
- Keep all soft play on the designated areas such as soft matting supplied & set up by a member of our staff.
- Bluetooth speakers & lights supplied as an extra must be supervised by appropriate adult/supervisor and not by children. Assistance will be given prior to set up with one individual and device.
- Ride ons are suitable for the ages of 3+ and a max user weight of 50kg with one rider per car.
- Under no circumstance are banners, flyers etc. to be applied to any of the equipment.
- If the products are hired overnight at a additional charge they are the responsibility of the signee/hirer and to be stored inside safely along with any accessories. You the hirer will be responsible for loss or damage to equipment whilst in your possession.
- The hirer is responsible for any damage or injury that may occur during the use it is advised to take out your own public liability to cover this.
- You must ensure to take care with extension lead cables and ensure your own risk assessments are carried out to avoid injury. We advise you tape down extension leads to avoid trip hazards.
- The hirer must be present at the venue at our arrival to accept delivery of the goods as well as undergo safety checks, conditions of items prior to us leaving as well as pay for the items.
- ID will be required and proof of home address prior to installation of your hired items.
- A £20 refundable deposit is required upon delivery of your inflatables/products. This is to cover against loss, damage and/or cleaning to our equipment during the hire period.
- Please allow approx 45mins for our staff members to install your equipment safely prior to your event start time. We will also require 45mins to pack up the items upon collection.
- Please ensure adequate room has been planned prior to your booking for your desired equipment. If we arrive and deem the area unsuitable/unsafe we reserve the right to cancel the booking and your booking fee will be retained by us to cover our time/loss of earnings. If you are unsure please call to discuss. Please also be aware that we need sufficient space to get to the area to set up - i.e. through a side gate to the garden we will not be transporting goods through a house as items need to be moved with a heavy duty sack truck and potential damage could be caused.
- No smoking in or around the equipment and/or venue which the items are being situated. Deposits will be withheld if the items come back smelling of smoke.
- Premier Bounce staff will inspect all equipment with the hirer prior to leaving the venue, should any discrepancies worth documenting such as condition etc. then this should be pointed out to the delivery/installation team and documented on the appropriate hire booking form. The items will be again inspected upon collection to ensure the condition(s) of the equipment have not changed and remain in the same condition arrived in. This is to ensure you, the hirer, are not liable for any discrepancies BUT is ESSENTIAL you document on the paperwork.
- Soft Play balls are to be collected & put back into the net provided prior to the delivery drivers arrival. Should the ball pit balls be scattered around the venue and/or lost a surcharge/non refundable deposit of time will apply.
- Allergies - All items are cleaned using bacterial cleaning solution (Bouncy castle cleaner).
- Do not allow children to take balloons onto the equipment (burst balloons and strings can be a choking hazard).
- No water or other liquid to be poured or sprayed onto the equipment (other than a reasonable amount for cleaning purposes) as it causes the surface of inflatables to become slippery, damages soft play, and can result in subsequent bookings being cancelled if the equipment is too wet to be delivered. If equipment is deliberately soaked you will be charged double your hire fee to cover our costs in subsequent cancelled bookings and drying time.
- Children must use slides one at a time and must not climb on the sides of the slide.
- Slides should be used in a sitting position, feet first – do not allow jumping from the top of the slide.
- Safety mats must be positioned at the bottom of the slide.
- Ensure that mats supplied with the equipment remain where they were positioned during installation
- Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron of the inflatable(s). The step is there to help users get on and off.
- You must call us immediately upon any equipment failure. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us immediately.
- We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that do not meet the minimum hire amount based on our delivery radius.
- For the hire of Rodeo Bulls / Surf Simulator / Wipe out - if a child is using these items they must still be supervised by a responsible adult whilst on the unit. The rider needs to be able to get onto the unit themselves or with the help of a responsible adult our operator cannot help them onto the ride. No persons other then the trained staff member provided should at any time be operating any of these units. If you have any of the below health conditions you should not be using these rides:
- Pregnant
- Blind or Impaired Vision
- Drunk or on Drugs
- Heart Condition
- Epilepsy
- Neck Injury
- High Blood Pressure
- Recovering from any surgery
- Is unable to mount the rides unaided
- no food or objects in their mouth
- Any ailment that can be aggravated by the motion of the ride
Please note that all persons using the equipment do so at their own risk and that Premier Bounce and/or any other individual/organisation are not responsible for any injury, damage or loss of items. The person(s) or organisation hiring the equipment will be liable for any injury or damage occurring from or as a result of misuse and/or recklessness. The guidelines are stated for all person(s) using the equipment and must be adhered to at all times. Premier Bounce cannot accept responsibility for any injury to anyone whilst using this equipment.
I have read this agreement and fully understand the safety procedures and conditions set in place. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the well being of the equipment and that it will be under adult supervisor at all times. I will pay for any loss and/or damage that may occur during the hire period which would include the items returning in a unsatisfactory condition as outlined in the above terms and conditions. I will inspect all equipment on delivery and agree to return in the same condition.
