Oakengates Christmas Light Switch on 2019 was a fantastic event this year which seems (like all local events) to be getting bigger and better each year! A MASSIVE turn out of supporters who flocked to support local businesses as well as to enjoy the FREE entertainment put on in Oakgenates high street to support the Christmas season and begin the Christmas light switch on 2019 countdown!
On display this year was a variety of Telford's based Premier Bounces Bouncy castles and our inflatable Grotto with the one and only Santa who was absolutely FREE to see AND every child also received a FREE gift!!! The feedback by the public was tremendous and couldn't believe Santa was free to see!
A vast amount of mechanical rides on offer from for all ages! Premier Bounces Children's mechanical fun fair merry go round rides as well as trampoline rides, tea cups plus so much more!
The variety of food on offer was great from indian quasine to fish & chips, burger vans, hotdog stands, hot donuts, candy floss plus supporting local shops all open late to support the christmas light switch on annual event. A HUGE entertainment stage at the bottom of Oakengates high street displayed a selection of singers/entertainment which really went down well.
